Solutions

Welcome to the R.I.S.E Project School Club! At the R.I.S.E Project School Club, we are on a mission to Reach, Inspire, Support, and Empower young people to take charge of their futures and create positive change in their communities. Why We Started Critical issues like consent, gender equality, and personal development are often overlooked in schools, leaving students vulnerable and unprepared to face challenges like sexual violence. The R.I.S.E Project School Club was created to provide a safe space where young voices are heard, nurtured, and empowered to become confident leaders and advocates for change. What We Do Educate: Equip students with knowledge about their rights, responsibilities, and ways to address social issues. Empower: Foster leadership and advocacy skills through storytelling, drama, and art. Inspire: Encourage students to become role models and changemakers in their communities. Our Vision We aim to establish a strong foundation for student leadership and advocacy, creating a network of school clubs that spark conversations, inspire hope, and drive positive action. The STAR

With the STAR (Support Talent Advocasy & Resillience), we use creative outlets like music, drama, and spoken word to educate, inspire, and challenge stereotypes. Our annual talent competition empowers youth to raise awareness about consent and sexual violence, with winners awarded school supplies and scholarships.

F.L.A.S.H. Initiative The Fostering Leaders Against Sexual Harm (F.L.A.S.H.) Initiative empowers local leaders with the skills to combat violence at the grassroots level. By fostering safety and resilience, this program builds stronger, harm-free communities. Join us in creating lasting change—partner with F.L.A.S.H. today!

S.U.R.E. Program The Survivor Uplift for Restoration and Empowerment (S.U.R.E.) Program transforms survivors into advocates for change. Participants are trained as actors, comedians, monologue performers, and leaders, equipping them to use creative tools and leadership skills to advocate in their communities, support others, and demand justice. Partner with us to empower survivors and inspire transformation!

ECHO Rehabilitation Program The Empowerment, Change, Healing, and Outreach (ECHO) Rehabilitation Program tackles the root causes of violence through prison outreach. While we firmly support justice and expect perpetrators to serve their jail terms, we acknowledge that human rights law ensures their eventual return to the community. This innovative intervention focuses on dialogue, education, and mindset shifts. We work with inmates who show genuine remorse, equipping them to become advocates against violence through theatre and storytelling. Join us in supporting this transformative program and fostering a safer, more inclusive future for all.

1. 24/7 Helpline – Instead of establishing a new helpline, SRS partners with existing, professionally trained organizations such as hospitals and crisis centers to provide essential support for survivors of sexual violence. Through this helpline, survivors have access to immediate resources, including safe housing, legal aid, and mental health support. By working with institutions already equipped to manage cases professionally, we ensure survivors receive timely, compassionate assistance while reinforcing a network of trusted services in the community.

Join Us in creating a world where survivors are empowered, communities are united, and change is possible for everyone.

Our Thematic Areas

Our Thematic Areas

At Solange Rising Star, we are dedicated to fostering resilience, justice, and empowerment. Our work is centered around four key thematic areas:

  1. Survivor Empowerment, Advocacy, and Economic Resilience
We empower survivors of sexual and domestic violence through advocacy, support, and justice initiatives. By incorporating economic empowerment programs, we equip survivors with the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives, achieve independence, and thrive.

  2. Youth Education and Community Engagement
We believe in educating and inspiring the next generation to create a safer and more equitable society. Through school programs, clubs, and creative platforms like talent shows, we foster awareness, encourage active participation, and nurture young leaders to champion social change.

  3. Rehabilitation and Restorative Justice
Our rehabilitation initiatives focus on transforming offenders into advocates for change. By promoting dignity, human rights, and personal growth, we aim to reduce recidivism and build pathways to restorative justice, fostering harmony within communities.

  4. Awareness, Advocacy, and Capacity Building
We raise awareness on the root causes of violence and work with communities to drive systemic change. Through advocacy, skill-building initiatives, and community-driven solutions, we empower individuals to take action and create a ripple effect of positive impact.
